This Privacy Policy describes how Chilljoy Doula, LLC ("we" or "us") collects, uses, and shares personal information when you use our website (the "Website"). We only describe practices that actually apply to this site — we don't run paid advertising, sell products, or run an affiliate program, so this policy doesn't include those sections.
Information we collect
Like most websites, ours runs on hosting infrastructure (Netlify) that may automatically log basic technical information — such as IP address, browser type, and time of visit — as a normal part of serving web pages. We do not add any additional tracking or analytics cookies to this site, and we do not use this information for advertising.
All fonts on this site (Syne and Atkinson Hyperlegible) are hosted directly on our own site rather than loaded from a third party like Google Fonts, so no font-related data is shared with anyone else.
When you submit our service request form, we collect what you provide: your name, email address, phone number (if given), which service you're interested in, your chosen sliding scale tier (if given), a relevant date (if given), and any message you write.
How we use it
We use the information from your request form to respond to your inquiry, follow up about scheduling a call, and communicate with you about the services you're interested in. We don't use it for advertising, and we don't sell or rent it to anyone.
How we store your data
Form submissions are stored by Netlify, the platform that hosts this website and processes our request form. You can find more about their practices at their own privacy policy. We check submissions manually — we don't forward them into a separate CRM or marketing tool.
We use commercially reasonable security measures to protect your information, though no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. We keep your information for our records unless and until you ask us to delete it.
How we share your information
We don't share your personal information with third parties for their own marketing purposes. We may share it with service providers who help us operate the Website (currently, that's just Netlify), or if required to by law, subpoena, or other legal process.

If you are a European resident, please note your information may be transferred outside of Europe, including to the United States, since that's where our hosting provider operates.
