What I offer

Support at every stage

Abortion Support

Whether in an office or at home, having an abortion can be nerve-wracking or just physically uncomfortable. If you need someone to distract you, comfort you, or just be there so you're not alone, this is for you.

Prenatal & Birth Support

From full prenatal packages to a focused birth plan, plus text and virtual support when it's go-time — there's a lot to learn and do in nine months.

Postpartum Support

Do you like sleep? I like sleep. If you just need a nap, a load of laundry done, and some groceries picked up, this is for you. I'm also here to chill with you and listen — no judgement.

Sliding scale pricing

Support shouldn't depend on your bank account.

Sliding scale is an important equity tool that allows access to a service at multiple price points based on circumstances. I offer a sliding scale as a way to support various communities in accessing the support they want and deserve.

About me

Hey there, I'm Alyson (she/they).

I'm a Black, queer birthworker based in New York City, offering grounded, joyful support for folks making and growing families. My approach centers rest, ease, celebration, and joy — because birth can be intense, yes, but it can also be full of laughter, play, and deep calm.

I'm a laid-back, attentive presence. I'm here to go with your flow, meet your energy, and help you absorb the information and resources you need in ways that actually feel good. I'm not a wish granter or a miracle worker — but I am the person who will help you stay grounded, celebrate every tiny win and magic moment, and make space for the kind of care that feels true to you.
